I took it out for the only snow we had worth blowing. That's when the steering shaft broke, and i had to put it back in the garage.
I had planned to cut the steering shaft and weld it off the tractor, but the hoses became a challenge and once it was together I couldn't bring myself to take it apart again. Sadly that's the only way I'm going to get an even cut so I'm going to have to do the best I can with it on the tractor, then use a grinder to make it flat. I'm going to use a pipe cutter to score it so I have a good line.
The most amazing part about the power steering is there are no leaks. I had it out there running for a good while, worked the wheels back and forth a few times, and at normal running, it didn't affect the engine at all. I do need to bring out the pressure washer and clean it up real good though.
