Hello everyone, I am wanting to replace the differential lock on a b8200E 2 wheel drive standard transmission unit. What do I need to do to pull the shaft out of the differential? I see from the drawings from Messicks (and a few pictures from here), that the drum brake has to be removed, an oil seal, and a bearing. What holds the shaft in place in the differential? Can I pull it out without taking the top half off to realign the gears? I don’t see the “C” clips like a Chevy rear end has. Any one done this before?

There is no shaft to pull out of the differential.
Unless you want to call it this shaft.
And it just pulls out.
#20 is the diff lock clutch
