Looking at purchasing an '06 Kubota B7800 with front loader, 800 hrs, no other implements..would $12,500 be a good deal? What wear etc should I be concerned with?
I did buy this tractor! (For a good bit less than twelve-5), but now I need a bushhog...want a 5 footer, but manuel says rated at 4'...dealer says it could handle a 5', but I'm wary of overloading tractor...any opinions for me? Thanks
Yes, it's hydrostatic, but concern I have is not exceeding 500 lbs on lift arms... if I'm reading specs right. To stay under that with a 5 footer, I'm not sure I'd be able to get a heavy duty, better made bushhog, with a decent warranty. Looking for weights of units online but can't find em
If you look ok at any of the specifications I he weights will be published. Assuming you are interested in a rotary cutter, a Landpride RCF2060 is 620 lbs.
I have 10-15 acres of overgrown fields, most of which doesn't have a lot of thick sap sprouting YET and I have several old logging trails/roads that have some small tree growth and heavy briars starting back. I'm thinking 4' HD hog for trails and getting worse fields cut down, then being able to handle most of it later with 5' or even 6' finish mower. Probably wouldn't be trying to get over anything thicker than 1"...but who stops and measures
