He let borrow his tractor this morning before it got to hot.

I power washed the radiator again as it still looked dirty not a lot came out it was mostly grass. Then i used air to blow it out and dry it.

I took apart the air duct that feeds the air filter and it had a nest inside it of grass so no air flow. I used it for about 30min and it did not over heat.

The top radiator hose was 200F the bottom 190F or slightly less.
Hopefully you got her good to go then.

We have an enormous problem with grass seed compiling into the rad fins around our neck of the woods.

You can blow and spray all day long, but majority of the times, coolers will need to be removed from out in front of the Rad or Rad removed and a thorough cleaning will need to be done to restore proper air flow through the fins.

Tried cutting one last time before the dealer came and got mine last week. And the hole in my grill compacted seed so fast into my screen and rad i said screw it.

There IS another possibility….it’s rare…but it occurs…. The lower (suction) radiator hose Liner can “collapse” INternally …. and close-off coolant flow. (Hoses are commonly made up of an outer rubber cover…then a fabric strengthening middle layer…and a rubber Inner liner. If it becomes de-laminated…pump suction can collapse the inner liner and not be noticed if the outer layers remain expanded. This can greatly reduce or completely stop coolant flow. (most commonly on under-sized or restricted radiator core.)

(in a similar fashion maintenance folks were almost driven nuts when I told them an airplane I was flying would suffer engine power-reduction about half-way thru takeoff. They didn’t believe me, so I told them to “come on board and let me show you!”
Sure ‘nuf…. about halfway down the runway the engine on the left side would roll-back from takeoff to cruise power.
They couldn’t duplicated it on the hangar-ramp.
Then I tested it again…and when the engine rolled-back…I turned-on the emergency (electric) fuel pump …and the engine recovered immediately. The engine-driven pumps were sucking fuel from the lower tanks…. collapsing the delivery hose inner-liner.…not something one would normally expect or test-for. The emer-pump was installed at the tank outlet however…and pressurized the collapsed hose-liner to restore full flow.)

Back to regular programming……
