My fan belt is full of cracks, i found the part # 16241-97010 but it is discontinued. Can anyone suggest a perfect fit or should i just buy one on ebay that claims to be the original Kubota belt?

Also how hard is it to replace? Not sure if i can DIY it.

Most V-belts have the length-width designated on the spine. Any numbers you can still read on yours?

(Example: my finish mower made in Asia has a dealer-price of $35 EACH for the “back-ordered“ twin V-belts. But their designation is readable on the spine…so I ordered a pair on Amazon…. the PAIR was $30 and they’ve been every bit as good and hard-working as the OEM.)

The number might be like “5L320” or such….(I made that up for illustration)

No mine is pretty much gone, surprised it has not broke yet.

Isn't the Kubota part number good enough?

Edit. It’s in the title.
You can remove it be loosing the alternator and moving it around the fan. Even if it breaks removing it an auto parts store should be able to match it up.

Yes-assuming the auto parts store has a clue what their job is. Probably better luck at a NAPA store than an Auto Zone store.

I've bought great belts from VBeltGuys.com on numerous occasions. Great belts, fair prices and fast shipping.

Here's their B7800 belt:
Kubota B7800 Compact Tractor Replacement Belt

Pretty much identical to the description above. And once you know the size or "replacement belt ID" you can source the belt in standard material, kevlar, poly, etc.
