I have a Kubota 7610 that will not start. I was using it, shut it down, got off, went to start again and it was dead. I replaced the battery, still nothing, but heard a buzzing at the starter. Checked fuses, all good. I replaced the starter, still nothing, but heard a clicking behind the gauge panel. Ignition relay, replaced, still nothing. Thing is not in gear, PTO lever seems to be in neutral. What am I missing. I'll take any ideas

Thank you

Replace both of the battery cables.
BTW , did you check the starter 'on the bench' before you bought a new one ?

It's more than likely a safety switch engaged.

What Wolfman said. Don't just go buying more parts.

Don't buy cables until you do some TESTING.

You may have a gunked up safety switch, possibly corroded. Might be a corroded connection somewhere OTHER THAN the battery cables.

You can use good jumper cables to TEST instead of buying new battery cables. You can use some jumper wires to jump across safety switches to TEST them.

THINKING and TESTING beats parts swapping every day.

So I bypassed safety switches, still nothing. Checked wires, all were fine from what I could tell. For the sake of just testing, I tested the battery. Brand new, was putting of 10 volts. Bad battery. Got a new one, fired right up. Thank you all for your suggestions.
