Either my B7510HST has suddenly developed really great fuel mileage or there's something wrong with the fuel gauge/sender. It's been run for 3-4 hrs plowing snow and the gauge still reads above full. Is this likely to be a bad sender or could the float be stuck, or a wiring or gauge issue. When the tractor is shut down the gauge does go to zero. From looking at the tractor and the parts breakdown it looks like the dashboard and most of the engine covers have to be removed to get at the sender, not something I want to do outdoors in midwinter.

Our float stuck once, produced similar symptoms as you have described. I moved the machine over some uneven ground (produced some decent side-to-side angular displacement) when I was moving some firewood and voila, the fuel gauge worked again!
