B7510DT, 4' Snow blower, 4' Loader, 6' Blade, 6' 3PH Finish mower, 6' box blade,
Hi~Vic~! I'm your big fan now~
I've watched all your videos, Well~ almost. and I really, really thanking you.
and all those members of kind post too. and big thanks to Keith that welcoming me~
Any how, I just bought B7510DT as used. 21Hp diesel, 440 hours, 4' Loader,
4' snow blower, 6' finish mower, 6' blade and so on.
Now I'm looking into 5' snow blower.
but I found a bit of problem on Clutch. (Gear grinding)
Here is the list what I've found so far. You might be interested in too.
When I depress the clutch and try to engage the gear, makes gear grinding
noise and engages it. as long as keep the clutch pedal down, I could keep
changing gears without the problem. but once let the clutch go and depress
again to engage the gear it starts again.
So I thought clutch pedal adjustment would fix it. also I found 2 inch free
play. so I changed it to 1 inch. and 9 mm gab as well as. but still same.
so I have increased gab to about 2 cm or so and tried but still same.
At this point, I have suspicion of Hydraulic transmission oil.
'cause ex-owner took it to some mechanic and changed oils but he doesn't know what kind of oil he has put it in. and that transmission oil looks so clean. I could be wrong but guessing that mechanic put the thick oil instead
of TDH or UDT oil. that is why it acting like that...?!
and I changed engine oil myself with 15W40 for now but I'm going to change it to 10W30 before winter. Thanks to this Forum.
and I found engine oil was looked like "TAR"... Ex-owner said he has changed it not to long ago........ ;( What do you think?
and Is it true? that diesel engine oil tends to getting darker quick?
So... I'm going to change all the fluids, but I have question.
On B7510DT, manual says two drain plugs for hydraulic transmission oil.
but if I drain them all, those thick oils stuck in the loader cylinders and hoses will not be drained, I think... ;(
Is there any tip for draining all those thick oils from cylinders and hoses?
Of course, without breaking my wallet.
and is my guess correct for clutch (gear grinding) problem? or am I in deep trouble with clutch~~~???
and as Vic told us he has been using Walmart's TDH oil, Is it Okay to use on B7510DT too? One of dealer in my area kind of scaring me to using TDH oil. ;(
but according to Vic, his tractor was running fine with TDH oil. and another friend of mine has been using Shell's hydraulic oil since brand new for 8 years. told me $35 or so. and I bought TDH oil for $36 to change hydraulic oil and front axle after I've read Vic post........
So... Vic, what do you think? as your word it is good to use with TDH oil. but
right below of your post, "Ob1kubota" post all that fancy list and tempting me into it. BUT, I still do BELIEVE you 100%.
So, TDH oil will not damaging the gears and cylinders and so on, Right?
and Where are you located at? Pencylvania? or Canada?
Thank you for your help in advance.
Thank you all.
