My B7510 starts fine when its cold but won't restart after its been running for a bit. After its sits for a while it will start again. Any thoughts?
Yes it runs fine until I turn it off. and I use the glow plugs for about 5 seconds before every start. Will it run well for a long time if you don’t turn it off?
Do you use glow plugs when you’re trying to start it warm?
usually let it sit for 45 min to an hourAnd another question...
How long do you have to let it sit before it starts again? 5 minutes or 5 hours or?
I’ve got no good ideas yet unless it is something electronic that is controlling the fuel that goes bad when hot but works when cool. Does it have some automatic shutdown solenoid or do you have to pull a lever to cut it off? If you have the solenoid I would suspect it is going bad. See if you can find a way to test it or remove it to see what happens. Just be sure there is a manual way to shut down the tractor.
