This morning when I went out to do the snow removal the lift arms on my front loader would raise and lower but the bucket itself would not dump or raise. After a few minutes it began working properly, but this is the first time its ever done this. We've had below freezing temps here for the last few days so would that have anything to do with it? Maybe I just didn't give her enough time to warm up. I bought this tractor new in 2003 and have been very happy with it. Its never let me down. I have noticed recently though that the seal on the cylinder on one side has begun to leak a little. Tranny fluid is not low. Anyone have this happen to them? Thanks.

We don't get a lot of freezing temps around here but I can tell you that with my L4400HST, in "cold weather" it will not move (the entire tractor, forward or back) until the fluid is warmed. You can push on the pedal and nothing happens. Maybe the same thing going on with your bucket?

leaking seal will allow water to get in and water turns to ice when it's cold !
A friends skidsteer magiically 'lost' the left drive, after a real HARD 'frost'. Onc ehe dragged it into shop, got her hot, drained the 'muck', refiled with fresh oil, she's been fine...

Describe exactly what happened. Was the hydraulic relief valve making lots of noise or alternatively, you have a cable joystick and a cable was frozen.

Kubota has a recommended warm up chart primarily for the benefit of the hydraulics and transmission. Are you following this. Does not sound like it.

I would suspect a little water contamination frozen in that spool. I have that happen on my B7200 occasionally.
