Is there a way to pin the belly mower in the UP position? I'd like to be able to move the 3 point up and down without the mower moving every time.
Yes, you can pin the front of the mower up in the "transport" position. There may be two clevis pins stored on the rear stoppers on the top of your mmm deck, near the rear gauge wheels. If not the clevis pins are identified as (dia.) 12 x 35.
From the Rotary Mower Operator's Manual,
"1. Park the tractor on a firm, flat and level surface, set the parking brake, lower the mower to the lowest position, stop the engine and remove the key.
2. Remove the clevis pins and hair pins from the rear stoppers.
3. Start the engine and pull the hydraulic (position) control lever all the way to raise the mower to the highest position.
4. Stop the engine and remove the key.
5. Insert the clevis pins in the holes of the mower deck and mid hanger bracket, then attach the hair pin.
6. Set the front gauge wheels and the rear gauge wheels in the lowest cutting position to get the maximum ground clearance."
