Does anyone know if it is possible to mount a b748b snowblower (made for B6100 and b7100 gear)on a B6200DT (gear) tractor? The b748b operates off the front pto, and the B6200DT I own uses the front pto for the belly mower.
I have a B748B blower for my B4200DT with the electric clutch on the front PTO. This is the only setup I am aware of to drive the B748B. I also have the mechanical front PTO that drives the mower deck on a B7200E. If you have fabrication skills might be possible to adapt the mechanical PTO to drive the blower. I am fairly sure the electric front PTO was an option for the B6200. If this is true then you could remove the entire mechanical PTO and replace with the electric.
Hope this helps, Jeff

Thank You. The reason I ask is that there is a B748B snowcaster for sale in my area that includes the electric clutch. Pics below. I would assume I can switch out the manual clutch for the electric, as long as the PTO shaft location is the same from a B7100 to a B6200\B7200 tractor.
I am not 100% as I do not have a B7100 to compare. My B4200 front frame is built like the B5100, 6100, & 7100s; it is short. Engine-radiator-radiator shield. The 7200 is engine-radiator- air cleaner /battery tray-grill. Probably 8-10" longer.
When I bought my blower the clutch did not come with it so I built my own. the 4200 shaft was obsolete so I ordered a 8200 or 9200 shaft and cut it down. This could be an option for you. Jeff
