Well.
I missed my chance to buy a b7200 with a loader , waited a bit to long to check back with the guy selling it .:(:(
I'm new to the compact tractor thing, and wanted (turns out i wasted precious) time checking out a few things, and shoud have gone with my gut and just bought it ...........

Anyway , fellow says he might know of a B8200 for sale .
I was on tractor, data looking at specs and it is only about 2 hp more in engine ,a couple inchs wider and longer , but shows up as being about 500 lbs heavier. 1700lb vs 12-1300 for the 7200 series.
Is this a different "class" of tractor , that it is this much heavier?
Anything else you know of that is different ?

Note , for my use , heavier would be an advantage, not a handicap .

thanks

Overall just about the same. As you discovered not a huge differance. I'd go with the B8200 and jump on it this time around. When you liquid ballast the tires you add about another 2 to 300lbs of weight to it.

I agree with Eric, the size is close to the same between the two. It is still small enough to get in tight spots and the added weight will help in some situations. Either size will do you a good job.

Yeah, what they said.

Now go buy it, before it's too late!

B8200 only has 2 more horses but the rear end and trani are bigger. Plus if it is hydro it has three ranges not two like the B7200. I have a B8200 and it is a monster for power for the size of it. Go get it.:D Dusty

I went from a B6200 to a B8200 and I really didn't see a huge difference in hp (due to what I use it for) but the added weight of the B8200 was awesome. I found I could do things in 2wd that I had no chance when I was in 2wd on the B6200. Like they say with tractors it's all about traction.
