B7200 flashers not working

I own a 1983 B7200HST. I have started looking into why my flashers do not work. I removed the steering wheel and dashboard. I have no power to the hazard switch. I ran a wire from the battery to where the red wire connects to the switch. This gives me power to the lights but they do not flash. Next will be checking for power to the hazard unit. Can anyone tell me where this is located?

The power goes to the flasher then through it to the switch, so more than likely a bad flasher unit.
