B7200 Engine

Good Morning all,

I've got a b7200 with a d950 engine that is toast (water down the exhaust ) and im looking for an engine replacement. I found a guy local who is selling his L2000, has some issues but the engine is fine, it has a 3 cylinder and looks to me the same as mine, but when I lookup the spec sheet, it says it come with a D1100.

Does anyone know if the D1100 would be a swap for a d950?

IIRC - The D950 is the peak in that particular family (D650/750/850/950) and the D1100 is a different block to bellhousing bolt pattern. I believe the last two digits in the engine designator denote a "family" but I could be wrong.

i kinda figured this from other posts i saw, im going to check the ID plate and see what engine it is for sure

Yea no, that engine is not swap option.
