The control on the b7100, is really the last thing you want to go into!
I hope you do have a cylinder seal issue, as the valve requires an "Expert Level" to work on them, it's not something one hopes to work on.
I even cringe at the thought!

When you say control valve is there a seal that is known to go in that? or is it something else with the control valve?
When I bought my B7100d, the 3pt control valve (not sure if this is the same control valve Wolfman referred to) was seized (no surprise, my hydraulic fluid was basically water). This was the first thing I tackled. Removed it, partially disassembled it and soaked everything in a bucket of ATF for a few days. Then sanded some areas with 1000 grit wet/dry sandpaper. Put it back together and it works great!
