The pump may be capable of generating 3000 psi, but that doesn't mean it's a good idea for your application. Aside from the pressure ratings of the other components in the system, the engine may stall if it can't produce the required horsepower.

You can still use that pump; simply set the relief valve to the lowest common denominator.
It’s 12 volt not directly driven from the engine and it’s self contained so stalling the engine should not be an issue, I was just wasting time surfing for random stuff with 1000 ideas floating in my head

No you don’t you sound as hard on yourself as I am on myself 👍. There’s a bunch of different ones on the site

0.91 gpm? Not what I'd want for a FEL. The stock B7100 pump is a bit slow @ 3 USGPM.

Besides, that's not a pump, it's a 12 hydraulic power unit. @ 1.6KW, it's going to draw >130A. The stock B7100 dynamo delivers 10A. It's going to kill the battery in short order. Much better to get a PTO or engine-driven pump.

Those pumps are designed for low flow single acting lift applications. Stick with the tractor hydraulics or a front pump.

I had a senior moment with drill bit sizes and botched the hydraulic block. Starting over. :devilish:

Unscrew that and the filter is attached to that bolt head. But you will drain out all of the fluid if you remove it before draining the transmission.

[/QUOTE Thank you for the info, so this confessed me because the 6100HST filter is located in line but located at bottom end of trans but for the Gear driven B7100 the line comes in just below the transfer block located on the trans, so it is pretty high up to loose much fluid but i just dont know, since i already serviced the trans not going to touch again until next trans service. Dont use the back lift that much at this time and the lucas gear oil a little spendy . So onto next project, today valve adjustment and clean fuel system and replace all old fuel lines, brakes also froze up but that will be tomorrow. Thanks again for your time

Do yourself and the tractor a favor - follow Kubota's current guidance. Replace that gear oil with any quality brand of Universal Tractor Transmission Fluid. Better performance and lower cost

i Used Rotella on my HST love that stuff my diesel truck get this all the time, beets delo on breakdown and temp reading but on the on gear driven tractor it said to use 80/90
Kubota changed the transmission oil recommendations for all models to universal tractor fluid decades ago.

So i finally got this 7100 running and it has a very serious engine knock, big bummer, so the muffler on this was facing straight up with no dampner and sat outside when i picked it up so one of the things i did is mounted it horizonal, but too late found out why the parked it. Anyway anybody have any knowlage about pulling the motor out of these with the FEL, what the best way, Straight up or pull the whole front end off. This is a manual so looks like bellhousing bolts unhook acc, and go straight up, just my body has limited movement so cant really crawl underneath to see if there is something going to surprise me, I do have a good knowledge of mechanic's. Thanks for any advice that anybody can help me with

How about putting in a D650 motor in the b7100 any thought on that?? I dont run pto just the FEL so i dont think the couple extra ponnies would make that much difference ?? I work on cars and trucks first timmer on tractors and hydraulics

Curious how close you are to me, I might be able to help you out.
As working on it 100% requires you to get under it and remove quite a few component's.
Why are you wanting to go with a D650?
The D750 is probably rebuildable.
