Does anyone have an original Kubota B7100 top link that they'd be willing to measure for me? What I'm looking for is the overall length (I know it changes with adjustment - just trying to get a rough idea), the length of the body, and finally the body diameter.

Thanks in advance,

Steve

This is an aftermarket Cat1 top link. I am using it for a B 5200. I believe yours uses the same link. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1369669304.494609.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1369669315.210285.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1369669323.827382.jpg

Hope it helps.

Fastest1,

I appreciate the help!

Out of curiosity, do you remember where you found that?

Also, just double checking, are the ball holes 3/4"? (It's tough to tell in the pic)

Thanks,

Steve

I have a B7100D with the OEM top link, the body is 14" and fully collapsed it is around 19" to the pin centers, the pin diameter is 3/4"

Well, now I'm a bit confused only because the difference is so great.

Fastest, when you have an attachment on the tractor, roughly how far out do you have the link adjusted? Is is mid-way, or is it unscrewed almost to the end of the threads?

If you had it buy again, would you buy the 9" again or would you grab one a little longer - say 11"?

I ask only because, if the OEM is 14", that seems like a huge difference...

Also, from what I've read, apparently Yanmar uses a 11" on their similarly sized stuff.

Let me know your thoughts will ya?

Thanks for the help!

I bought my B5200 used and had a link I thought was too long. I didn't know what was original and ordered this one because it was shorter. The prior unit would just barely allow me to level anything if it would at all. Now I am able to be more in the middle of the range of the link. 29.00 bucks off of eBay.

Let me say that you will have to either change one end or grind it a little as it is too wide to fit in between the mounting plates on the tractor side. Nothing you can't do with a grinder in a few minutes.

No problem.

I picked up my tractors as restoration projects and unfortunately they were missing the top links. Now I know what to get.

Thanks again for the help!

I'm assuming you do have the lower 3 point links?

My 3 point impliments when set up "level" have the top link pin straight up vertically from the lower link pins. Does that make sense?

So if you measure the horizontal distance from your lower link free ends back to your top link bracket, that's the dimension you are looking for.

Thanks MagKarl,

I'll measure it that way as well just to be sure since Fastest's tractor is a newer model than mine.

I appreciate the help!
