The tires on my B7100D are worn/rotted/leaking.

The current tires are 6-12 in the front and 8-16 in the back, all 4 ply. Is this the correct factory size?

How terrible is it to peel these off the rims with a manual tire changer and get new ones on? I'd rather not take them to a shop, the front wheels are cracked from the bolt holes and I'm going to weld them up when I do this, and I'm not sure if a shop will take issue with this.

You have a good source on the new tires?

I am sure they could be done on a manual changer .......... really depends on your skills a patience ! ;)

Your post displayed weird so I pulled the formatting out. Not sure if it was an issue for anyone else?

Anyway, based on that the rear tires aren't the correct size. Interesting. Maybe. Googling leads me to believe that maybe the D used 8-16 and the HST used 8.3-16?

Front tires are cheap on Amazon. Rear is not looking good, but I'm not going to worry too much until I know for sure what I'm supposed to be ordering.

Edit, TractorData clearly has mashed the D and HST models together. They are not overly similar tractors despite having almost the same model number.

Sorry 85Hokie that's not right:
Tractor data has it wrong:

B7100's only ever had one size R1

Front: 6-12
Rear: 8-16

Tire sizes in your first post are correct.
This is cut from the B7100D manual.

When I bought new tires for my B7100D from eboy, (Carlisle Farm Specialist) I went to a local tire shop. They mounted the fronts with no problem, but they & the next five shops could not seat the rears at all.
Finally got some help from a shop that specialized in tractor, forklift, and heavy truck tires.
They mounted them easily on the first try.
The difference was the local shops all thin their tire soap, the specialists used it full strength.
YMMV.

Replacement rear wheels are all over eboy, but I was never able to locate a source for the front ones.

Good to know the rear wheels are out there, I'm not sure how corroded mine are as I suspect they were loaded at one point.

And thanks guys. I guess I could have looked in my manual and found the sizes listed. Oops.
