Hi

I have just snapped my Bando fan belt belt and have ordered a new one for a B7100 but it is too short and is toothed.

I have tried searching on Bando but get nothing back, so I imagine this belt is no longer made.

Does anyone have the part number for the smooth V belt (not the toothed belt I ordered!) or any compatible alternative as I can't find the correct one. 86.5cm long, 8mm wide.

Thanks

Try this Dayco one on Amazon.com for around $10. Size 4L380
The belt has very little stress on it. No water pump and only a low output dyno.

Odd.
Mine has 3 pulleys- crankshaft, dynamo, and tensioner.

Looks like you have a B7100 that someone has upgraded the engine in it.
Looks like a D850 or D950 with a water pump and a real alternator.
If you give me the number that is stamped into the block just to the side of the injection pump facing up i could be able to tell you the proper belts for it.

Or just take the broken belt to a local auto parts store and match it up.

And it doesn't mater if the belt is cogged or smooth, they both will work the same.

Thanks. I couldn’t see any number. I think my rather vague description of three pulleys was actually 2 pulleys and a tension pulley!
