Ok it messed up and ran the fuel tank dry. Now I can not get it started. I filled the tank and when ahead and changed the fuel filter (which the bowl was almost dry). I went ahead and filled the owl up and screwed it back on. Still will not start. Is there a way to prime it or something?

You will need to bleed the fuel system. Basically get all the air out of the lines to the injectors.

There may be (probably is) a bleed valve on the filter, then one on the injector pump. Then you will need to crack open the injector lines at the injector and let the air get pumped out.

Don't burn up your starter by using it too much/too long.

You can probably search for more specific data on your tractor and the process.

Thanks! I did a search on bleeding the injectors and found the OT video on it. Perfect! I will give it a try in the morning.:D

Once you bleed the system and get it running, your perspective will be different. It is agravating, but it isn't doom and destruction to run it out of fuel.
But, if you haven't already done it, that tank being dry is a good time to check it for debris, and clean the bottom out.

Funny that you say that. When I was looking to try to prime it I removed the fuel line going into the filter to see if fuel was going through and at the end of the line was a piece of wood. It was taking up at least half of the tube.

Who dies that???
Me, even with a fuel guage on the dash.
But not with the l1501 yet, it uses so little fuel, i have to stop every now and then and open the filler cap to let some out.its that good on fuel.
