B7100 problem

I just purchased my first tractor, a B7100. I believe it to be a 1980 but can't find the serial number.

I bought it used and everything worked at the guys house. We took off the front snow plow by removing 3 bolts, so that we could transport the tractor home. At home I returned the plow to its position and the hydraulics won't work. The rear 3 point hitch will go up and down fine, but when I try the front hydraulics I get nothing. I know about the valve under the seat and it is turned so the front hydraulics should work but they don't. I don't see any leaks or damage to the lines or couplings. Anyone have any ideas?

On my B7200 the block that the snowplow hydraulic lines connect to is a valve. On my tractor the valve is on the right side , above the brake pedals. When the handle is turned one way it bypasses the snowplow lines and goes straight to the 3 point system. When it is turned the other way, the flow goes to the snowplow control first and then to the 3 point system. If you disconnect the extra lines and plug the ports, make absolutely sure the valve is turned so that the flow goes straight to the 3 point system. If you don't the pump will "deadhead". That is not a good thing!

Are the front hydraulics are fed from the valve under the seat?
Mine are but for them the work the the lever for the rear lift must be left in the "raised" position.

Thank you both for the responses. The valve under the seat is just behind the shifter and is T shaped with an arrow on it. When the arrow is to the right the front hydraulics should be working and when it is to the lift the rear 3pt hitch should be working. I am aware that the rear hitch should be in the UP position for the front hydraulics to be working. The rear shifter will only rest in the neutral position once the hitch is up.

My lift lever will stay in the up down or nutral position.
The lift arms can be anywhere for the front hydraulics to work as long as the arrow on the flow selector lever is in the correct position.
