B7100 noise on reverse

Hi

I have B7100 (non HST) and it has noise (some how grinding noise) only when in reverse.

Any ideas what to check. I will check the diff lock if stuck, and also would see if disengaging 4wd makes any difference, and might open the gear box cover to see if I can see any damage there

About the only way you'll find it is to open it up.

I'd be curious if there is a difference wihere 4wd disengaged. The 4wd gear is on the reverse shaft. I have lots of 7100 parts. Glad to help
