I'm going to be selling my B7100 HST and I'm looking for advice on price. It's an early 80's (I think) with about 700 hours and in great shape. I've got a landpride back blade and a landpride 60inch 3-point finishing mower to go too.

What is something like this going for?

Reason for selling, I just bought my neighbors BX 1870.

That machine aint broke in real good !;)

I will go out on a limb......

the machine, despite being "old" is in good shape and hours are low.....something around $3500-$4000 anything below $3000 - it is a steal.....

the mower and blade, add at least $500, then again to replace the mower and blade would be closer to $1000.

Ask $4900.....and hope to get something close to $4200-$4500;)

(I have no idea what the market is like or will stand in Midland, MI)

thats my two cents.........pay me when you sell!!!:D;):)

I recently sold my B7100d (manual) with a loader. It had a new Massey bucket, one new set of cylinders, new pump, new single stick FEL controller, new hoses, replaced some cosmetic parts, seals, and fluids. Sold it for $5,500 within 4 hours after posting it on CL.

For that,I would think $5000 is still a steal. I got my 94hst-d, 4ft back blade, scoop and a boom for 5k. I would think 4500 for the tractor, maybe 200 for the blade and 700-800 or so for the mower. I don't think $5500 is out of the question at all.

Just noticed you're in Midland... On second thought, I think that mower is worthless... I'll take it off your hands for scrap value............

Ha ha ha, yeah right.

I bought the mower last spring for $1,050, it wasn't new but was close. I put about 5-10 hours on it this summer. I may sell it separate though if you're interested.

I wish I had the cash flow. Looks good though. Rear discharge? It looks like it's just what I'd want.

Thanks everybody, I was in the same ballpark as you all were so I guess that is good. I just hate to see her go, but the promise of selling was the only way I could get my wife to get on board.

Do you find the best place to post is Craigslist?

I may not list it until spring, so if you're interested let me know later. I thought I might have some pictures, but I don't seem to right now. Honestly, it's basically new.

check your private messages

For the rest of you, I compiled a list of CL values for B7100s from all over the country a couple of years ago, with various attachments. I came up with base values and values of each of the attachments, best approximation. The biggest value add is, as you would expect, the FEL. If any of you would like this list, send a private message with your email, I can't attach the excel spreadsheet on PMs on this forum. Sorry if I don't get right back to you, I only visit this forum once in a while, or when I have a new maintenance challenge.

I do appreciate the support provided by all of you, thanks.
