Hi everyone. This weekend I'm installing the blower as well as all new lines and quick fittings and I'm sure to lose some fluid. Wondering what fluid I should use to top it off? Type 32? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx and God Bless.

With not knowing what is in it now, and not knowing when you last did a fluid and filter change, I would recommend dropping all of it and replacing the filter and going with UDT for the change.

Geared units can run 80W90 but upgrading to UDT will make the pump happy and Increase flow rate over the winter. ;)

? N.I.W. The fluid that you recomended is listed as hydrostatic fluid. With being a " stick" machine, will that pose any problems? Later this evening we're gonna run errands and stop at tractor supply. Probably purchase 5 gallons of that fluid. Also need the quick connects.
Sorry to be such a PITA, just new to the tractor scene and would hate to burn something up. Thx

I too would let it bleed out too ....and then go back with S UDT2 ..............$$$$$ but worth it on that "new" tractor !

Thx a bunch everyone. Going to do a drain and clean the filter. If I was to purchase a fel control valve( 2 joysticks) could I, hypothetically, run a hydraulic powered front implement? Example( a hydraulic powered chute for the blower).

I have an older gear driven tractor. Switched to the udt. Works great. Shifts easier, and three point hitch makes less noise now too.

Yes just make sure the valve you get is a open center type valve. ;)

And Yes UDT is fine in a geared tractor, that's all they use in newer tractors.
Only hitch is you might get a little seepage out of seals as it is a little thinner than 80w90, but usually nothing to worry about. :D

Walmart Super Tech UTF also works good for gears/brakes/hydros if you are frugal like me and can't afford Kubota brand fluids.
