Are you referring to aligning the clutch disc or the tractor halves? It's not exactly easy but as long as whatever rig you use to hold up both halves is easily adjustable it's do able. My machine is an L175 but should be about the same procedure. I used a come-along attached to a 4x4 that went across two of the attic floor joists in my barn to hold up the front end. The sling went around the casting that goes around the flywheel. There are pics of it
here in my second post. The only catch is the engine can rotate on the front axle's center pivot and frequently does so but it's not awful to manhandle it back into place. Those jack stands you see were to keep it level while I worked on it, the come-along is just there for insurance in that pic.
As you've probably seen the rear I did by strapping a floor jack to the transmission. That worked beautifully. By only loosely bolting on the pressure plate assembly I was able to feed the transmission input shaft into the clutch disc and then adjust everything so it was level and then wiggle it back together. I tightened the pressure plate bolts through the access panel in the bell housing after removing them one at a time and applying red loktite.
