The clutch pedal on my B7100 has too much travel. Replacing the clutch disc, pressure plate and release bearing did not solve this problem. The pedal travel is too far with all the linkages adjusted. Any ideas?

Thanks

Could there be anything bent in the linkage?

How much travel does the pedal have before it has any kind of resistance?

If the same problem was there before you replaced the internals, something has to be installed incorrectly :) orrrrr, something in the linkage is still out of whack.

Well, the pedal goes all the way to the bottom before it barely engages. My friend who is a heavy truck mechanic just helped me split the tractor and we cannot see anything out of whack except that the release bearing sleeve that the fork rides on is showing some wear.

Did you get a Kubota clutch or an aftermarket clutch?

Go to Kubotabooks.com and download the three part service manual, it will tell you how to measure and set up the clutch.
I think olthumpa is eluding to the fact that aftermarket clutches can be setup and/or build out of specs, He had a heck of a bad run at this just a while ago, so it's something to watch for.
