We are rebuilding the D750 in the B7100 after realizing it literally pumping oil out of the breather after warmed up. Got it split and tore down to realize piston #2 top ring was broken in multiple places. So we are getting it re sleeved due to the lips from ring wear, and getting the head checked. Pistons and rings, Main and rod bearings will be replaced along with all gaskets. Anything else you’d recommend doing now? Break in oil recommendations? Also what’s with the sealant on the bellhousing where it bolts to the engine plate? What should I use to reseal that? Just rtv?
