Hi, I have a 1979 b7100 gear 4 lug front axle 4x4 tractor loader backhoe. I found a B7100 same old style 4 lug with a hydrostatic transmission. Hydrostatic tractor is just that a tractor and no loader or backhoe. Was thinking of buying it, taking loader and backhoe off of mine and transferring it to the hydrostatic tractor. Then selling my gear tractor to recoup some of the costs. Any thoughts on if this would work or not? Any help greatly appreciated.

Your most likely going to have to remake the mount point as I do believe the HST model is longer than the DT model. ;)

Yup, what he said. I discussed this with another B7100 owner 3-4 years back, and we both took measurements (rough tape measure) and we decided that the HST was longer. (3"-4"?... don't remember)
We discussed that most likely you would have to lengthen the FEL sub frame rails that attach to the rear housing; he was going to check it out, but he never contacted me again.

Thanks guys, waiting to hear back from him if its still for sale. Doesn't seem to hard to lengthen. Neighbor is a fabricator by trade. Sure we could make something work. B219 loader is that factory for hydrostatic tractors? or is it I believe the 1630 or 1640 loader?

Don't know about that one, somebody smarter than me will have to answer that.
