He guys, just got a mid 90's B7100 and found that my 3pl will not work. I can easily lift the arms up and down. I do not hear anything moving inside the housing while moving the lever. Is there possibly a pin or gear that could have broken in the housing?

While it's running? My 3pt moves like you described right now but tractor isn't running and the system is drained. To be honest I never saw it working so I'm not sure if that is indicative of a problem. Once the motor works again I'll turn my attention towards that should it not resolve itself.

I can tell you the first thing I'd check is the pickup screen for the pump. Here's Vic's article on the site about it, I'm not sure where yours is exactly but if you can't find it I'm sure someone will chime in. That's a very common machine.

There is a valve mounted under the front of the seat --- sticks out right between your legs as you sit in the seat. That valve is used to adjust the rate of drop of your TPH. If that valve is closed, you TPH won't work. Check it first ------

here is a pic of a valve located under the seat front. To me it looks like an in-line shutoff for that plugged outlet to the left of it.

Well, I'm not sure --- do you have an Owner's Manual by chance? That should tell you. Someone with a B7100 can help you better than I can.

Its a diverter that selects the hyd flow to the TPL or to to anything connected to the plugged outlet, the rate of drop is adjusted by a,usually red painted bolt by the lift lever.
If you search my old posts I have show pages from the manual.
