Hi All,

I purchased B7001 tractor, and am doing service and checkups, and have some inquiries.
  1. Seems it was left outside, and the gear shifter boot is cracked, causing the hydraulic oil to be extremely milky, am going to do oil change, however, noticed a leak seems (not sure) from the hydraulic pump which is mounted to the right of the engine block (after the fuel filter), it is as in the attached image. It seems leaking from the (out) part of that object, is this a major service, or it could be a seal change? if I can know the part name of this leaking object, that would be great :)
  2. b40b0ce5-0cd7-4009-8f89-14a4353d5d8f.jpg
  3. The 3 point is working fine, but I noticed that the control rod (the one that has two screws to adjust the travel distance of the 3-P) is some how bent. are these available, or should I straighten it, or fabricate one similar?
  4. The right brake pedal seems stuck, I read hear that it could be from the lever (in front), or it could be from the brakes housing (in the back), I will try to use penetration oil to loosen the rust, and see if that could resolve, otherwise, I will try to check if it is from front side, or back side, and go from there
  5. The injectors hoses (the hoses that connects on injector to another), Can I know the diameters of those hoses, so I can get replacement
  6. 8231993f-1170-4fe4-b67d-b8e7b0327703.jpg
  7. The radiator return line, seems missing the whistle, can I find whistles online?

Thanks a lot in advance :)

Are the labels on your tractor in English or Japanese?
Where did you get the B7001. Please provide the full serial number likely on the side of the transmission.
I ask these questions because you may have a tractor only made for the Japanese market and imported into North America outside normal Kubota channels. Kubota dealers wont supply parts nor service these machines however there is a section on this form for GRAY market machines and it has a lot of info about parts etc.
Please post some photos of the dynamo and rectifier + anything else connected to the rectifier.
I found a part number for a whistle. I expect they are all the same.
H662058750.
Go to a Kubota dealer and just ask for the part number and if asked say you have a B7100.
Kubota Canada does not show a price which is concerning and may mean they are no longer available.
Another member recently posted he was parting out a B series. Take some time and search. 007Kubotaguy is often parting out old Kubota's, usually L series but perhaps others. Use the envelope symbol and send him a private message.

Hi Dave,

The serial number is B7001-71659, however, it has B7100 Emblem. The tractor was imported from USA to the middle east.

I will get some photos as requested, once I am in the farm. However, would the parts (mentioned in my inquiries) differ a lot between B7100 & B7001?

I have the tractor in Jordan (Middle East), and I believe parts for B7001 should be available, and if not, I will start looking online to import them if needed

See below for what I think will answer your questions.

The block looks like where Kubota provided a point to tap into the hydraulic system for adding accessories. One pipe should be from the pump outlet and the other should go to the three point system (into the tractor case under the seat. If that is what you’re showing then there will be two o-rings sealing the surface of the two plates. Take the cover off, replace the o-rings and tighten the bolts. I guess you can just try to tighten the bolts first to see if that works.

  1. The 3 point is working fine, but I noticed that the control rod (the one that has two screws to adjust the travel distance of the 3-P) is some how bent. are these available, or should I straighten it, or fabricate one similar?
These are probably available but the rod has some bends in it originally so look for or ask for a picture of one before you straighten it.
  1. The right brake pedal seems stuck, I read hear that it could be from the lever (in front), or it could be from the brakes housing (in the back), I will try to use penetration oil to loosen the rust, and see if that could resolve, otherwise, I will try to check if it is from front side, or back side, and go from there
There is probably some support on the bottom of the tractor for the pedal, like clamps bolted over the bar. These sometimes have a grease point and sometimes they don’t. You can try to get grease or penetrating oil in that area to free up the pedal. But you will need to lubricate all the pivot points. I think you will see that a rod enters the rear brake housing and that junction is often rusted so spray it with a good penetrating oil and work it if it will move already.
  1. The injectors hoses (the hoses that connects on injector to another), Can I know the diameters of those hoses, so I can get replacement
I don’t know the size but the dealer will be able to get that hose. It should be available at an auto parts store also, just take one off and get the replacement. There are also some spring clamps that are on both ends of that hose. I can’t see any but they need to be there to stop the leak. I don’t know if that clear hose will seal well either. The black hose is pretty soft when new to seal around the fitting. The clamp is basically a wire type hoop with two ears to expand the hoop.
  1. The radiator return line, seems missing the whistle, can I find whistles online?
Here is a link to a thread on the whistle. I doubt they are available. Part number for the L185F is 15021-72040 and is not available. They seem very simple and could possibly be made by some clever musical instrument repair person or handyman. If you want dimensions I could provide you with them but it just has to sound with the steam at water boiling under 13 psi

Good luck and keep the radiator exterior clean so you don’t crack the head.

I was looking at the leaking block picture again and think the pipe on bottom is a banjo fitting that has a banjo bolt and two sealing washers (one on each side of the fitting). The bolt could be loose or the sealing washers are leaking.. Try to snug the bolt but not too much torque on it since it is hollow and not very strong.. If that doesn’t help then replace the washers and possibly replace the bolt.

You have a B7100DT, they used B7001 in front of a lot of these tractors.
So it's not a grey and it's not a B7001.
The parts are almost all the same between the b7001 and the B7100, the PTO shaft and gears are different.

The whistles are long obsolete you would be better off installing a temp gauge.
There are several posts on here to do that.

The return lines on the injectors, just pull a line and measure, I'm thinking they are 1/4" but in your area they probably deal with lines in mm.

The brakes are just a matter of figuring out what's not moving.

The pump leak is crush washers.

Replace the shifter boot and fluid too.
Shifter boot

This is what the three point feed back linkage looks like.

Today I investigated further the hydraulic leak, and I believe it is from the neck where the bolt attach, I have a video:

It's leaking on the joint at the top gasket, replace that copper washer and it should seal.
