B7000 Starter Replacement. Please Help

Hello all. I picked up a very clean B7000 that has a bad starter. After learning that they are not US imports I have had some problem finding a cross reference on which starter it uses. Can someone help me with this info. What other tractor uses the same starter as the B7000. Thanks for any help. earthpig...

I have the parts book for the B7000 and the north american B6000 and they both give the starter as 15231-6301-2. You could try that with your local Kubota dealer...

Hey rowboat, thanks for jumpin in and helping. This has been a real pain, as everyone wants to sell tou something that MAY fit. I'll give it a try. earthpig

Thanks rowboat. That was the info I needed. A brand new starter at Discount starter is $81.94 with free shipping. They list all the different Kubota tractors but none of the gray market ones and I figured it would use the same but when you call they just take a guess at it. You've been very helpful and I'm sure there will be others reading this. earthpig.....

If the B6000 is the same as the B7000, you can get a parts manual for the B6000 at no charge by visiting www.tractorsmart.com. Click on the "manuals" tab and then select the parts manuals that you want. You'll receive a pdf parts manual at no charge via E-Mail in about 24 hours.

I'm glad that worked out! We B7000 owners need to stick together cuz there are no north american equivalents to our tractor...

Just noticed bruceatlams post and just wanted to say beware that B6000 and B7000 share some but not all the same parts. Service dept. Vic can sell you a parts manual for the 7000...
