Hi all . I'm new to the forum ,but have a question for those who know. I recently took a B6200 hydro 4wd on trade. It came with a very nice King Kutter 60 inch rear finish mower. I have very little experience with compact tractors. The B starts fine runs fine and sounds good.I hooked the finish mower up and tried it out .The tractor mows ok on level ground but on any incline it will barely pull its self with the pto engaged. I realize this is small tractor but I see them listed with 60 inch mmms. I will sell the tractor and mower separately but I'm wondering if this unit has a power problem .It doesn't smoke blue or black under the load. I just dont want to sell it to someone if it's not right. I know this is a long rant, but I would really appreciate any input . Thanks

Was it in low range or high range?

Did the motor bog down?
If it was in low range, then it is just too much HP demand for it.

Did the PTO slow down with the tractor slowing down without the motor really slowing down much?
If it did it could very likely have a bad clutch disk causing to slip and not send power to the HST and PTO.

Operation note: Most try to mash the HST pedal down on an older HST's when it slows down, what you really need to do is let up on the pedal and it will actually speed up. ;)

You're also trying to run a 20HP min required Finish mower with a tractor that has 12.5 HP max to the PTO.

Thanks Wolfman .The motor definitely bogged down .I am pretty sure its just too much mower for this little tractor. I will just separate them and try to find a smaller mower for it. Thanks again.
