hey all, was just out putting chains on my kubota b6200 hst and we just got it back from having the hydro foot pedel control linkage replaced, i have been driving the tractor for the past 3 days including plowing the driveway twice and it worked perfect. all has been going well, i took it out today and things were going great putting the chains on, i start the tractor up to aid in putting them on a little better and discover the hydro controls are now reversed....where forward was before on the pedel, reverse is there now, same thing if i want to go in reverse like normal i go forward. can anyone enlighten me on this, thank you,
merry christmas,

update, i went back out a little later to try again on the tractor and now i cant even move the pedel in either direction. it feels like so much pressure i dont dare put barely any pressure on the pedel cause i dont want to screw something up. we just had to pay 2400 bucks just for the dealer tio fix the bit of linkage that was gone, the parts were on 350, but as uyou can tell by the bill price, labour is a killer.

Sounds like whoever you had work on it didn't do the job right, for the price you paid I would be dropping it on their door step and telling them to get it fixed stat!

one problem, they are 2.5 hours from my location and i have no means to travel or bring my tractor there.. funny thing is that the tractor was working fine until yesterday, then its just all of a sudden the controls start messing up like i described. now the it sounds like there is so mush internal pressure somewhere in the lines you cant press the pedel down to go anywhere. i dont know much about hydros especially in scuts or cuts for that matter. ive been tolod that there is stuff froze up somewhere, ive been asked well aint there a lever you pressed somewhere that would do that? it was also asked is there any chance the chains you were putting on hit or screw up the linkage somehow....far as my knowledge goes, the chains didnt hit anything, they werent flying around or nothing.

Too bad there wasn't any other farm equipment dealer closer to you. Any good tractor mechanic could do this job but might have to order parts if required. Of course the best would be a Kubota dealer. Now you obviously have to take it back for warranty. Can't you rent a small car hauler or other type of trailer to get it back.

well I got home and my grandfather and uncle were messing with the tractor, seems they were able to get it moving somehow, but I still cant get the tractor to move while the range lever s engaged, only when its in lo, but even then the tractor wont climb any kind of inclne when going forward only reverse seems to work. the controls are also still reversed too. it still feels like there is still too much pressure on the pedels....so I am wondering is there some kind of relief valve that might be stuck possibly?? also is there any manuals that could help me with this tractor? any service manuals? I cant seem to find any manuals on the site.... than you vry much,

The controls are reversed probably because the linkage is out of place.
It's very unlikely that there is anything internally that's causing your issues.

Here is what your looking at for part of the linkage, also make sure the set speed control lever is all the way disengaged in order for the pedals to work right.

You need to get a repair manual for this tractor, I think you can get one from Kubotabooks.com (you will have to wait till the first of the month as it runs out of band usage and get shut down). You can defiantly get the operators manual from there and that's worth a ton in information!
