This may sound stupid but I'll risk it anyway! not sure about B6200 but my B7100 doesn't have a charge light just an oil pressure light! so my stupid question is are you sure it's a charge light? now that I've shown my stupidity I'll try to show my smarts cause if it's not illuminating when the key is on and engine stopped it's not working properly no matter which type of light it is! if you have access to a DC Volt meter place one probe on either terminal of the light if light socket has no terminals you can get a couple of straight pins and insert them through the insulation into the wire to get your measurements, turn key on, but do not start engine. if 12 Volts are present the light socket is bad. if 12 volts is not measured simply move the negative meter lead to the negative post of the battery if you then measure 12 volts you have a bad ground somewhere. You can use the meter to search the connections in the circuit to find out where!
