Greetings

In the Kubota shop manual, it gives the capacity as 0.2L or 0.2Qt of gear oil

However after draining for about 5mins, then refilling, mine started overflowing at about 0.16L

I rotated the steering wheel, lock to lock, but the oil level didnt drop

any advice much appreciated

thanks!

From what I remember, when I changed the oil on my B7100 there was old oil below the drain plug which I used a vacuum pump and flexible tube to suck it all out.

Its hard to Get it all out unless you have the box disassembled or use a vacuum tool of some sort. I suppose alternately you could pick the tractor up and shake it out! You could flush it out by squirting new oil in and let it drain out. You just really want to be sure theres no water left behind, thats what actually does the damage not a little older oil. Or you will be taking that gear box apart to repair it. Good luck!
