Any tips for doing this from someone who has done it already?

Mine is leaking and time for a replacement. Lools like I will need to remove rad, but am more concerned how ro physically get seal out. I see there is an o ring in there too.

Walk in the park...
Remove side panels and grill.
Remove radiator
Remove belt and crank pulley
Use hooked puller (harbor freight has them) or slide hammer with screw tip, or just a screw and a pry bar works too, pop the seal out.
Then on the crank you will see a smooth sleeve on the crank, that comes off with hook tool or pick Note the direction that it's in the now, behind it is the O-ring.

Inspect that sleeve, it will more than likely have a groove worn in it.
If the groove is off set you can flip it to get a good seal surface with a new O-ring behind it.
If the groove is in the center you will need to buy a new sleeve and O-ring.
