My neighbor has a B6100 it is leaking water. We are going to pull the engine side cover. Does anyone here have experience helping us locate the freeze plugs, we are hoping he is lucky and the block not cracked.
Help appreciated, pictures good also as well as what and where to look.
Leak appears to be from left side facing forward.
Thanks, Dave and Jerry

Is it a leak you can see the drips from or is the water level going down in the rad ?

Thanks Dave,

No it is gushing out from near the rear of the engine. We'll pull the left side cover and see what gives, more later, just looking for now to locate the freeze plug locations.
Thanks, Jerry

On the left side there is a row on top and side of head, then a row of 2 or 3 half way up the block, some behind the starter motor
On the right side a row of 2 or 3 behind the hydro and fuel pump.
There may be others but hopefully it will be one of these.
