I missed that. Thanks
Torch.....Hokie's links are for the gear drive. If you have the HST version, then you want this one:

Hokie,Torch.....
check out part 2 .....pages 21 through.....well till you are tired of reading! All the HST is there ......
I have one head bolt broken #4. I have wondered that something had to have happened to break the bolt head off.Does the OP have any concern the two broken head bolts have compromised the head gasket or reduced it's life?
I can understand installing new bolts in the short run to verify the rest of the tractor is functional and worth further investment in time and equipment.
Hokie,
No offense intended, but the links you provided are for the Intertec aftermarket manual. Kind of like a Clymers or Haynes. Part 1 is 18 pages, part 2 is 12 pages, part 3 is 16 pages. A total of 46 pages. The index in part 1 references up to page 100, so something is missing from the set.
The link I provided is the complete Kubota FSM for the HST version. 355 pages, all present. Plus I added bookmarks to each section. That's what I meant when I said "If you have the HST version, then you want this one".
Actually, peaking inside, I see that it actually includes the gear transmission too, and that the gear transmission is actually one of the sections missing from the Intertec manual, so I guess I should recommend it for all versions of the B6100 and B7100. Doesn't cover the B5100 though, so the Intertec manual is still necessary for that model.
Send me a PM and I'll send you a set of head bolts, I have an extra set here.Welded a nut to the reaming stem of the head bolt that broke off. It came out easily. When it comes to bolts, Would you get them from Kubota or source them locally as long as there in the same grades. What grade is a head bolt, grade 8? Metic goes by class so about 10.9?
