Still working on this b6100. When I move the 3 point lever to the right of the seat the engine idles up but nothing moves. I do not have a 3 point hitch on the tractor but I am assuming the stud where the upper arms attach should still move, or am I wrong?

The 3ph is gravity return, so once the "stud" is already at the full limit of travel, what's to return it? Ergo, no apparent motion when twiddling the lever.

Or a pair of vise grips ;-)

The shaft rotates two arms that lift the 3ph up when you pull the lever back, holds in place when the lever is centred and allow gravity to return when the lever is pushed forward.

PROVIDED: the valve under the seat is turned so the lever operates the 3ph and not turned to operate an accessory connected to the plugged outlet.

Pictures of how they connected the valve for the plow and it's piping would help iron it out. ;)

So if you moved lever from top position downwards it would stand to reason that it may very well be working, as when lever is full up, its loading the engine. As a rule i never leave three point in full up position.

I have never moved it myself. There is no part of the hitch that is present aside from the top bracket.

Side note: does anyone know of a 3 point hitch for sale that would fit the 6100?

If there is no three point arms on it then no it's not going to automatically spin the rock shaft! ;)

I can't seem to get the upper splined shafts to move. I locked some vice grips on one side and tried to get them to turn with tractor running and moving the lever back and forth. Am I doing something wrong?

Valve under seat-controls rate at which it lowers- slow or fast.all the way clockwise in theory will hold it up in last position you left it. All the way in and three point control down it will lower. I dont think a vise grip will do it.
Im guessing it hasnt been used in a long time, it could be stuck from sitting.
Big pipe wrench maybe? Spray lube around shaft.

Just thought I'd share in case it helps.
I had problems with 3pl slow and weak and after much searching decided to check the hydraulic filter at the bottom of the gearbox.
Totally clogged up so did a oil change and fitted a new filter and now works perfectly and much smoother.
