I bought a 2-stage snow blower (think it's a B222, no ID tag) and when it's all hooked up, the hydraulics won't lift it. Granted it's a heavy SOB, but one I had the singe stage it would do it no problem. With the single stage it had 1 lever control valve, and when bought the 2-stage PO lifted it with the 3 point hitch circuit. i'm not sure if it's too much to lift with the control valve or pump or cylinder is worn out. Thought it was low on fluid but it's fine....

Who plumbed the new control valve?

I'll try to get a pic. But for some reason this site makes my laptop stupidly slow, plus pics are on my phone.

But i plumbed the hydro's same way as it was on the single stage. I can't plumb other way cause need adaptors for the lines...

I think the hydrsulic plumbing is the first thing to check.

It's possible, but really can't see how since it came off and went on same way as the single stage, only thing that changed is the snow blower and hydraulic cylinder.

You can upload pics off your phone quite easily to this site.

Easier than on the desktop site, tbh.

only thing I can think of is the pump is getting weak. The blower came off a 6100, so see no issues why it wouldn't work. But, I had to go to harbor freight, so got the cheapest (smallest) winch they had, hooked it up and lifts it pretty good. I already powered the PTO and it works. Now I kinda wish we had snow, I've used single stages before but never a 2 stage, kinda excited lol.

The place to start diagnosing the lack of lift is with a pressure gauge and the new control valve. Its not hard - just ask.

The way this site is not sure I can even post pics, but I will try. My 6100 doesn't have that block. My 7100 does, but not this. The single stage had the hoses go to/from under the seat to the control valve next to the throttle. The 2-stage has the hoses go right to the valve or whatever it's called, and used the 3-point lever to lift/lower it.

So there is a big difference in the hydraulic hookup . I think you really need to get some help with the hydraulics on your tractor and how its connected to the implement. That starts with some pictures of both. I will wager the tractor will lift the implement if its plumbed correctly.

You 100% can post pictures here, unless you’re posting from a toaster.
