I have a B6000dt that I have been using a lot this year. The past two times that I have tried to start it it wouldn't start. The tractor would spin over but it was acting like it didn't have any spark. It would grab once liking it was going to start and then keep on spinning over and over. If you have any idea what the problem might be please let me know, thanks.

Brock,

I am gonna assume that YOU know there is NO spark in a diesel.

One of two things have happened - compression got real low all of a sudden - do NOT think that is the problem.

Or you have a fuel delivery problem -

Do you know how to change a fuel filter?

DO you know how to bleed the fuel system?

Do you glow the plugs BEFORE turning the key?

N0, I am not trying to be a wise ass - just trying to see what you have tried and what you have not tried.
Give us a little background on this machine please.

Are you using the glow plugs?
Have you checked the GP's with a multi meter?
Have you bleed the fuel system?
Follow this link and find the Owners and Workshop manual both free.

It's not getting fuel.
Is the engine stop still engaged?
Is there plenty of fuel in the tank and wasn't run out?
Have you check / cleaned / replaced the fuel filter lately?

Yes, I do know that there isn't any spark in a diesel was just trying to make a reference. Background: I replaced the fuel filter earlier this year and have maybe put 5 hours on it. I thought that maybe I didn't have enough fuel in it, but I checked and there was enough in there. On the 10th I took it to my county fair judging and it wouldn't start. When loading it on the trailer it took quite a while to start. Went up today to just turn the tractor over so i could lift the loader to put it inside and it started. When it did start it smoked super bad and straight white and it smelled like diesel.

Did the smoke clear up or not after some time?

Did you start it again after it was warmed up?

Any chance gasoline got mixed with diesel?
Doing that could cause your issue.
Other possibility would be you have a fouled injector.
