Hi guys im new to this site and im wondering could any one help me please , I have a kubota b6000 the head gasket went on it recently i noticed the usual milky couloured oil so i stripped it and got the head skimmed and all the valves done while i was at it and fitted a new head gasket, torqued it down in the proper manner and torque settings etc adjusted the valve gaps . I had problems trying to get it to go again with bleeding it out eventually it fired up for me but was very smoky and was sort of missing slightly, i put it down to air still in the system eventually it cleared up and was running very smoothly the next day i had problems starting it again it would take awhile to fire up then when it did it would run for about 5 seconds then cut out again eventually when it did start it was very smoky and slightly missing until it warmed up again, then it would run very well i could stop it and it would start straight away but tonight i fitted new heater plugs and started it again it was the same again very difficult to start and very smoky i turned it off and checked the water and dipped the oil and the oil has gone milky again disaster . Would any body be able to help me out here please id be very grateful indeed ?

If it were mine I would get a coolant pressure test kit and pump up the radiator to normal cap pressure and attempt to find where the coolant is escaping from. I'd pull the glow plugs, valve cover, and oil pan to start with.

As was mentioned...definitely pressure test the coolant system. Your symptoms sound just like mine when the head was cracked.
Did the machine shop pressure test the head?
