My B6000 is dripping some oil from rear axle seals, both side (~2 liters over the winter parked in garage). I got seals from tracpartz and was going to change them, but it wasn't like on B7100 like on youtube. I have to take off the blue cover on top of the seal (brake cover?), but is there going to be some extra steps? Can the seals be pulled without taking off the "bell housing" where the rear axle goes?

Also fan belt needs change, I think the engine must be lifted ~1 centimeter to get the new belt on. While in there, I got new radiator hoses + clamps for it too. Anything else what I should do while it's torn down?
I tried to check valve clearances, but couldn't turn the engine as I didn't have socket large enough to fit on the crankshaft nut.

Buy the socket needed to turn the engine, for valve clearance check!

Thank you both, I'll buy the socket to fit the nut.
I guess the nut is tightening when rotating the engine (clockwise viewing from front), so it won't come off. I should pull the glowplugs off to help, but little afraid they are properly stuck there

I don’t think you should have to do much to replace the fan belt. At least on my L185 it was straight forward but a little tedious to replace.

And isn’t the engine actually the frame so you can’t really lift it? I guess you could remove the front axle to gain access but that would be a lot of work required to replace the fan belt

Got the fan belt changed finally and it was quite worn... I had to remove 8 of the 12 front frame bolts and loosen the rest 4. Then use a jack to get clearance between front frame and crank pulley to slip the old belt off and new on.

Few weeks ago I ran the flail mower and measured temps, top of rad was 106c (where the top hose connects to rad) right after 20-30 mins of cutting. After about 5 mins of idle the top of radiator was +80c and lower part was +40c. Seems quite high? Going to flush the radiator and change the hoses next weekend.

I'll continue here to not pollute the forum

Tractor has developed random squeaking noise, can be heard in this video at 8 seconds and 35 seconds:

What could it be? I checked all oils and the levels are up to normal and also lifted one corner at a time and rotated all wheels, no noise then. It seems so random and it started when we were ploughing. For that video I drove 10 minutes and got it to squeak two times, 2wd and high range 2&3 gears.

Bought also some Neste brand HVO winter diesel, let's see how it works with this...

Throw out bearing for the clutch.
It's going out. :(

Thanks, The first symptoms can appear while driving and not stationary? It makes no noise while idling when clutch is pressed or released.
I guess I can drive a while with it and it'll get increasingly noisy? I'll have to bring it to city to get it sorted out, so that'll be next summers project.

Yep I've heard that bearing make the noise at all different times and randomly.
