I'm new to Tractors.. I have much automotive repair experience but this Little Kubota is my first real tractor..
Anyhow, the valve cover is weeping oil.. Can I just purchase a new gasket from a dealer or are there other resources to look at..
Can I pull the gasket and clean it, dry it then use gray rtv or black..
And
The throttle lever returns to idle position in use.. When I first bought the little guy the lever would just stay where put.. But over the last month the lever goes right back to idle position as if there is no friction to hold it in place.. From what I guess this is controlled by the fuel pump?
And lastly.. How in the world do you figure out where the ideal rpm is to run these guys..
With out an RPM meter (tach) it seems like a shot in the dark..
