I beive that my hydraulic oil is disappearing through the crank case, when the engine gets warm oil is spuing out the breather vent tube. Engine oil is up and over full but hydraulic is way down.
What should I be looking for and how to fix it.
B6000 Kubota tractor
I check to se if my hydraulic oil filter might be plug but it is ok.
The engine did get pretty hot I get the antifreeze but it was up and okay.

the only connection between the trans and engine is the pump on the right hand side, under the inj pump. it may have failed(seal ) and now is pumping hyd. fluid fromtrans to engine. pull pump and check shaft seal for damadge or leaking. good luck. i have a pump for one if needed.

This seems to be a common problem. I dealt with it two years ago. The seal was bad, but I ended up replacing the pump because of related problems. There have been a few other posts on this issue as well.

Hello, new to the forum. I am having this same issue, does anyone know where to source the shaft seal? My local dealer say's all they can do is sell me a new pump for $475 because the IPC doesn't break the pump down.

You can try the local bearing supply, they might be able to get it. I've had hit and miss luck with hydraulic seals. The other option is a local company that specializes in rebuilding hydraulic pumps. They might have something that will cross over. Save the seal as intact as possible for comparison, and you may have to take the hydralic pump as well, for accurate measurements if needed;)
