I have a Kubota B5200d (4wd) tractor that came with the house and property that I just bought. Not sure what year it is, but it seems to be in [mostly] good shape.
It is a bare bones unit; no loader (darn), a 3 pt in the rear (came with a 4' brush hog too), and a belly mower that isn't working at the moment, I'll worry about that later though.
After letting the glo plugs heat up for about 15 seconds it starts right up. It shifts fine, a little jerky at first (which is probably me),
Here's the first problem: the kill switch isn't working. Only way to shut it off is to put it in 3rd, stand (almost literally) on the brakes, and pop the clutch. These were the exact instructions from the previous property owner. This can't be good for the machine and am wondering where a new kill switch can be bought; better yet, does anyone know the part number?
For the 2nd problem, it's got a stuck throttle cable. Any advice on the part number for that?
Lastly, the seat pan is rusted through. First time I grabbed it getting up on the thing I nearly landed on my backside. So once again I'm looking for a part number and/or source for a new seat assembly.
Kubota doesn't appear to be very forthcoming with their part numbers, so any help would really be appreciated.
