I'm looking at a B5100E. I've actually had one before, along with a B7100HST-D that I currently own, and they are fun little tractors. However, the B7100 has a square "block" in the hydraulic lines where you can bolt on an outlet for adding external hydraulics. The B5100 I had did not have this "block". Is it possible to add this "block" to a B5100? I'd like to buy this tractor, but the main reason I need it is for running a firewood splitter, so I will have to have external hydraulics. Thanks for the help.

What type of wood splitter are you thinking of using? The ones I've seen locally are run off of the PTO and have their own hydraulic system so you don't need the auxiliary hydraulics. Like this one.

I wouldn't worry about adding the hydraulics, but if it's possible and you have other uses for it as well Vic might be able to tell you what you need to do.

It's "easy to do" depending on who you are. For you, I'm sure it is a very easy "fix". However, I need a little guidance on this. Without the square "block" like my B7100 has, I'm not really sure what to do. If I start cutting hydraulic lines, I'm going to need something to go there to plug them back up. Is there anywhere I can go to find out how to do this? What parts to buy? Where to buy? Are these Kubota parts?
