B5100, would like to find more attachments

So I have a B5100E, 2wd. It has the 3 point and PTO in rear. I would like to find more attachments for it such as a snow blower (single stage or 2 stage) and possibly a tiller for the rear. I love the tractor and would like to use it for more than just mowing the lawn. It has a Woods 348 (48") mower deck on it but I'd like to do more with it.
It's been hard to find any attachments from the Era this tractor was made, I think k it's a 1986. Are there other options? Non Kubota stuff that would work maybe? Thanks in advance.

hello, i have a kubota b2100, and i currently ( a few months back ) purchased a titan gear driven rotary tiller ( 4 ft model ), as well as a titan 4 ft box blade, i say as long as you stay at or under 4ft on attachments ?, any one '' should '' fit your needs. i have not looked up the specs for your tractor ?, but what i can tell you is, do not purchase any attachments that require more rear pto hp that what your tractor can produce !.

If I'm not mistaken the rear PTO is 10hp, engine is 12hp, it's a 2 cylinder diesel.
I did find a small spike drag at an auction, it approximately 3ft wide by 5ft long. I also have a home built 3 point mount that I'm going to attach the drag to so I can use it behind the tractor.
I'll keep my eyes open for other small attachments as time goes on.

The tractor is set up with the lifting arms and top link? If so then it will fit most implements of the same category (probably cat 1).

You may have to turn the lower pins to the inside

Yes it does have the 3 point lift arms with top link. Not sure what you mean by turning the lower pins to the inside though.

Sorry for the confusion

I mean the pins on the implements sometimes have to be turned from pointing out to pointing to the inside. Sometimes the rear wheels are not spaced wide enough for the arms to spread out over the pins. Also the stabilization chains sometimes limit how wide the arms can be spread. Pointing the pins in allows the arms to be closer together when attached to the implement.

Isn't the problem with finding PTO implements for these tractors the fact that they are reverse rotation?

I think that was a certain model or group of models. I don't believe it applies to all the small Kubota tractors though.
Pretty sure mine rotates the "correct" way.

It's the B6000 that has the PTO turning backwards to other tractors.

Got it. I had assumed it was all of those early 2 cyls and changed when they went to 3 cyls. Glad to be corrected!

Next question.. does it have a 'regular' 1-3/8" 6spline PTO shaft? If so, basically any Class 1 attachment that you can lift and/or power with the pto, will 'work'.

10hp at the pto is limiting but i think in most cases it's going to limit your travel speed with the attachment, not prevent you from using it entirely. A 4' bush hog that can go 4+mph on a 25hp tractor, you might have to go 2mph. Same with a snowblower. Post hole digger, maybe a little touchier but basically the same as on a 20 or 30hp tractor. Rear angle blade, again might have to go slower but you would find weight of the tractor a bigger factor than power. Landscape rake, basically no change. Box blade, again would have to go a little slower sometimes but weight of the tractor (i.e. traction) would be a bigger issue. Tiller, would just have to go slower.


I don't think there's much you just COULDN'T run, as long as its a <5ft powered attachment (i.e. 3-4ft tiller, 4-5ft bush hog, 4ft snowblower etc). Or, if it is just too heavy for you to pick up and effectively move around with. But if you can pick it up and it's less than 5ft wide you can probably use it, it's just a matter of, how quickly.

I have a 2n to run a bush hog. I'm mainly thinking a snowblower of some sort (the one for this tractor is hard to find) maybe a small (36"-42") tiller. I have plans for small 3-point spike drag for it.
Wouldn't mind a small PTO driven 4-point sickle bar either.
I have a Woods 348K51 belly mower I use on it every week. Love that set up for lawn mowing. Does great.
I just like using the tractor and trying to find more ways to utilize it.

Made up the 3 point drag today. Had a 3 point hitch set up laying around, same with the drag so I combined them to make this. (See pics)

Lookin good. I spy some kind of loader and a garden tractor as well. I also like to 'find ways' to use tractors for everything.

Looking at that Woods 348 mower, and i googled up some more pics.. looks like the kubota branded 48" 3pt finish mower i have is actually based on some version of that Woods mower deck. Interesting. My B6100 has a b219 loader that i found out is actually a 'johnson 25', and my b8200's kubota 'bt650' backhoe, appears to actually be a Woods backhoe as well. Just stuff im piecing together from seeing other people's pics.

The loader you barely see in the one pic is the FEL on my Ford 2n. The other garden tractor is a 1968 sears with a 10hp tecumseh motor. That sears will be up for sale. Just have to many projects and don't have any attachments at all for that one.
