I found this bolt on the barn floor today under the Bota. No idea where it fell off. It's got a 7 on the head and is about 1-3/8" long. I did see others like it, on the machine, but couldn't find any missing holes. Here are some photos.

As promised, the joke (somewhat related):

A guy's taking a bath and washing his belly when he notices a golden phillips head screwhead in his belly button. He gets a screwdriver and starts to unscrew it - no pain, but it's obviously a pretty long screw. Finally, he got it unscrewed all the way and his butt fell off.

I should add that the bolt in question was not gold!

It is definitely a bolt from Japan, either a car or the tractor.

The 7 is a marking for a value of torque to apply to the bolt during assembly on the factory floor.

Yep that's a Kubota bolt, look around the engine area and the transmission area.
It's a B3350 so very likely an emissions related bolt!
FYI that's a joke too!

uH-O, if it's DPF, it will probably cost $8,000 to fix ...

I'm resigned to get off my but and go over the whole thing with a flashlight & inspection mirror and try to figure it out. If somethings going to fail from it not being there, it's guaranteed to be the farthest possible distance from the barn in turkey mite infested grass.

Bolt size is 12mm x 35mm

If it has a MMM, check the bolts attaching the MMM brackets to the frame.

Mystery solved today - SDT - you pointed me in the right general direction! Got off my butt and crawled around and under the machine - I was checking the MMM lift actuators - by the back wheels, and found the empty hole - it was a ROPS mounting screw - one of 5. Turns out that they were all coming loose, so I reinstalled the dropped one and tightened the rest of them. Glad I didn't blow it off. Photo of culprit, below.
